A few years back, I remember I was looking for the meaning of words, and the search engine offered plenty of websites to choose from.

I chose the website, which gave me the etymology of words. I found the website useful, so I looked at their About section. It was written that the website was created by scientists for scientists to use.

It made me think.

I don’t have a degree, so does it mean that I can’t use the website?

Or

I used the website and found it very useful, does it make me a scientist now?
